sheep ornament

Welcome back everyone!  Today's ornaments are made for my knitting group.  I have a wonderful group of friends that I knit with every week.  I learned to knit about 5 years ago.  It sounds silly, but it changed my life.  The best thing I ever learned.  But I digress... I started out with a bunch of my leftover white and cream yarn.  Using my pompom maker, I made big fluffy white pompoms.  I have a thing for these pompoms... I will be using a bunch of them when I decorate for Christmas this year.
Next I cut out black felt sheep faces, and tied some grosgrain polka dot ribbon bows.

I hot glue both to the pompoms...

added eyes....

finished!  I was going to add pipe cleaner legs but I think they are cute just the way they are.   Would you like some more handmade ornament inspiration?  Check out my pinterest board here...http://pinterest.com/jenni_swenson1/handmade-ornaments/
